Pre-Race Routines

Pre-race routines are valuable tools for swimmers that can help with pre-race jitters. A pre-race routine is what you do once you’ve arrived behind the blocks and before the gun goes off. Think about your favorite swimmer right now and try to remember what they do behind the blocks before a race. You might realize that it’s the same each time, race after race. Even Tiger Woods has a “pre-shot” routine!

Registration

Regular registration will be held at the Belterra Amenity Center
on Sunday, April 11th from 4-6pm.

You will need a copy of your birth certificate for registration.

Membership/Eligibility

Membership is only open to Belterra residents of ages 5-18 on May 1 of the swim year that can swim one length of the pool unassisted.

Team representatives will be available to assist you in selecting your volunteer position as well as to answer questions.

Dues for the 2010 Swim Season

Registration fees will be $135 per swimmer.
Late registration fees will be $150.

Family discounts will still be available.

Please note that the above amount does not include the cost of the team swimsuit, kickboards or goggles which are purchased separately. Update: Lane 4 is scheduled to attend registration.

Refund Policy

We encourage all interested to try the swim team. However, if an individual decides to withdraw from swim team prior to the second week of practice, a full refund will be given. Otherwise, no refund will be given.

2010 Belterra Marlins Swimsuit Swap

We are coordinating a Marlins swimsuit swap for the 2010 swim session. Simply drop your gently used boys and/or girls outgrown Marlins Team Swimsuit to Amy Embrey’s house located at 301 Monarch Lane. She has volunteered to maintain a list of all sizes both needed and available. Families who participate in the swap will be contacted first. If suits are still available she will contact the next family on the list. If you would like to be added to the list simply provide the gender and size of swimsuit as well as your contact information.

For everyone’s convenience, just leave the suit and form below on Amy’s front porch between now and April 10th. Any unclaimed team swimsuits after April 11th, will be given to the Belterra swim team for future consideration. Lane 4 will be available at the Amenity Center on April 11th to sell new Team swimsuits.
